Hawaiki TŪ is a company of indigenous Māori Performance Practitioners from Aotearoa New Zealand specialising in Haka Dance Theatre. Hawaiki TŪ is creating new and authentic Māori Performance art that reflects the wairua (spirit) of Aotearoa.

Award winning haka dance company Hawaiki TŪ have brought together some of Aotearoa's most exceptional artists to collaborate on various shows and performances.

Hawaiki TŪ performers are selected from leading Kaihaka, who are expert practitioners of the multiple skills employed in Haka Theatre.

Theatre review – taurite, great town hall live stream, sept 2020

Kapa Haka and Māori Dance are blended to transcend worlds. Taurite translated as ‘The pursuit of Balance’ was described as a hidden gem in this year’s Auckland Fringe Festival. Developed with the support of Auckland Live and Creative New Zealand.
